5 ways you get hurt by your phone whilst exercising

It’s against your desires, because:

1) Technique suffers on account of weakened concentration. Training with poor technique is a phenomenal recipe for poor results and great injuries.

2) Pushing yourself becomes impossible Concentrating on anything else than your workout makes it impossible to function your hardest. I do think that if you are not going to do things properly and push yourself you could as well not undertake it at all.

3) Posture gets all smudged. Using your phone is likely to slide the neck and round the shoulders forward. To counterweight the back has to round out and consequently you have a terrible posture. Muscle tissue function best for those who have a proper posture: Back and neck straight, looking forward, weight on top of your heels. Do you want to practice bad performance? By the way we find people with healthy posture more attractive.

4) Can’t end up in the flow and also you can’t really enjoy something you are certainly not experiencing. Minimize distractions while doing exercises.

5) Sitting to swipe the telephone prevents active recovery. Walking, shaking and breathing deep is awesome for getting rid of excessive tension and the lactic acid in your muscles. Being seated and watching with a screen won’t get that done.

6) You won’t notice people surrounding you and you fail to be inspired, learn new things or be challenged by individuals around you.
Fixes for problems:

While using the phone because feeling bored: Tweak your routine. You don’t have to use the treadmill for A quarter-hour or whatever you do. Do something exciting and enjoyable (or torturous, whichever you want). If you don’t know how, get somebody else to do it. If exercising is boring you are doing it wrong.

Tracking your pulse rate with your phone is ok (though investing in a watch is more convenient).

Listen to music, mp3 audio books or leave your phone inside your locker. You will be fine. Do another thing at a time. Who knows, you could possibly even find enlightenment with no constant distractions of the phone.
